As part of the Council’s capital programme of carriageway planned maintenance works, East Riding of Yorkshire Council intend to undertake carriageway resurfacing and patching repairs at the above locations between the West End junction and the Howden Croft Hill junction. The work will commence on Monday 25 October, for fourteen days, returning on Monday 22 November for five days, including some overnight works (dependent on weather conditions).

Please note that all carriageway patches will be treated with a surface dressing next Summer. The working hours will be 08:00 – 17:00hr (Mon-Fri). The overnight working hours will be 19:00 – 00:00hr (Mon-Fri). Cave Lane, Main Street and Water Lane will be closed during the working hours with signed diversions in operation. ERYC would like to apologise in advance for any disruption caused by this essential repair work.

Residents affected by these works will be receiving a letter on 18 October and pre start information boards will be installed by the contractor (Streetscene Services) in advance of the works.
